What the wealthy actually buy
Here is what the headlines miss. The families moving are rarely buying a new life. They are buying options on one. A residency that does not require relocation. A second passport used perhaps twice a decade. A property that earns rent in a hard currency and holds a visa inside it. The purchase is not the move; the purchase is the right to move, priced today, exercised whenever life demands it.
Wealth has always moved. What changed is that now it moves first, and the family follows.
That is the abundance mindset, and it is the opposite of flight. Scarcity thinking clings to one country and hopes. Abundance thinking treats borders the way an investor treats asset classes: no single one deserves everything you have.
How to read your own map
Start with questions, not programmes. Where does your income arise, and where is it taxed? Which of your rights depend on a single government's goodwill? If your primary bank froze tomorrow, where is the second key? Families who can answer calmly have architecture. Families who cannot have exposure.
